IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar releases another 1.9 million rupees for medical treatment of Police officials and Their Families
Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has said that the Punjab Police is like a large family, with the health and welfare of all its members being a top priority. IG Punjab stressed that full support should continue for police employees and their families and that financial assistance should be provided from the Police Welfare Fund to employees suffering from various ailments. According to the Punjab Police spokesperson, Dr. Usman Anwar has approved the release of over 1.9 million rupees for the medical treatment of police employees and their families serving in various districts, including Lahore.
According to the details Ghazi Constable Muhammad Adeel Jameel from Bahawalpur has been allocated 400,000 rupees for medical expenses. Sub-Inspector Nasir Iqbal's wife was granted 300,000 rupees for brain tumor treatment. Sub-Inspector Ajmal Mahmood was issued 250,000 rupees for the treatment of his daughter’s spinal cord problem. Constable Muhammad Ali Khalid received 250,000 rupees for his wife's major surgery. Constable Shahid Iqbal and Junior Clerk Uzma Irfan were each granted 100,000 rupees for treatment of various ailments. ASI Abbas Haider and Driver Constable Mazamil Mushtaq were each provided 100,000 rupees for medical expenses. Constables Saif Ullah and Tahir Mahmood were also each given 100,000 rupees for treatment. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar affirmed that comprehensive assistance is being provided not only for police employees but also for their families' medical treatment. He assured that further measures are being taken to enhance health and education welfare for the force.
