IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar provides home to the Family of Another Police Officer
who embraced martyrdom in the line of duty.
Under the leadership of Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, the Punjab Police continues to prioritize the welfare of the families of its martyrs. As part of ongoing efforts to alleviate the difficulties faced by martyrs' families, IG Punjab has facilitated the provision of a home for the family of yet another police officer who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. The family of Constable Ghulam Hussain, a martyr from Rahim Yar Khan, has been given a house worth 13.5 million rupees. The property, located in Royal Garden Phase One, Rahim Yar Khan, is a 5-marla house chosen according to the family’s preference. Constable Ghulam Hussain laid down his life during an operation in the Kacha area near Machka police station a year ago. His widow and four young children will now pass their lives in the home provided by the Punjab Police. By IG Punjab's special efforts, Punjab Government released funds for the purchase of the house to support the martyr’s family.
IG Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, paid rich tribute to Constable Ghulam Hussain’s indomitable courage and supreme sacrifice, IG Punjab said that Constable Ghulam Hussain sacrificed his life while fighting bravely in the Kacha operation. Dr. Usman Anwar reaffirmed that Punjab Police will never forget the sacrifices made by its courageous sons. He further emphasized that the Punjab Police, which stands as the guardian of over 1,650 martyrs and 1,700 brave Ghazis, will continue to prioritize the welfare of both martyrs’ families and injured officers. Every possible effort will be made to ensure their well-being and to honor their sacrifices.
