A farewell ceremony was held at the Investigation Headquarters to honor Additional IG Investigation Punjab, Muhammad Idrees Ahmed, for his dedicated service. The event was attended by DIG Azhar Akram, SSP Admin Kashif Aslam, AIG Monitoring Khalid Mahmood Afzal, SSP Shazia Sarwar, SSP Fida Murtaza, and other senior officers. During the ceremony, all officers praised Additional IG Muhammad Idrees for his strong leadership and exemplary service. Expressing his gratitude, Muhammad Idrees Ahmed thanked his team for their excellent cooperation and presented certificates of appreciation to top-performing officers and staff. He also visited various branches to personally thank all the staff members. DIG Investigation Azhar Akram presented a commemorative souvenir to Additional IG Muhammad Idrees Ahmed, who has now been appointed as the Commandant of the National Police Academy Islamabad.
