IGP Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar expresses Deep Sorrow Over Inspector Awais Khan’s Death in Traffic Accident
In this time of grief, the Punjab Police Department stands firmly alongside the family of Inspector Awais Khan.
Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic passing of Inspector Awais Khan of the Lahore Traffic Police in a traffic accident. IG Punjab extended his heartfelt condolences to Inspector Awais Khan's family. Dr. Usman Anwar has directed supervisory officers to stay closely connected with the family and provide every possible support, affirming the department’s commitment to standing by them during this difficult period.
Inspector Awais Khan was recognized as a dedicated and hardworking officer within the Lahore Traffic Police. He tragically lost his life today while going to the duty after being struck by a tractor-trolley.
