Asim Raza, a Punjab Police policeman, has taken home two silver medals from the World Fitness Championship in the United States. Asim competed in the 80 kg division on behalf of Pakistan and won both gold. Bodybuilders from 42 nations, including the USA, Germany, and India, competed in the event. SP Zaneer Cheema gave him awards of commendation at a ceremony held in his honor at the Police Lines in Lahore upon his return to Pakistan. The SP promised that every effort would be made to support the growth of sports and commended Constable Asim Raza for bringing Pakistan prominence on the international scene in his remarks at the event.
