Punjab Police Actively Supporting Families of its brave Martyrs, Provided Home to the Family of Another Police Martyr.
Head Constable Haroon Rasheed was martyred last year while successfully thwarting a terrorist attack at the Kundal check post, Issa Khel Mianwali.
Under the supervision of Inspector General of Punjab Police, Dr. Usman Anwar, significant measures are being ensured for the best welfare of the families of police martyrs. In this regard, a house has been provided to the family of another police officer who was martyred while fighting the terrorists. Head Constable Haroon Rasheed embraced martyrdom last year while bravely thwarting a terrorist attack at the Kundal Issa Khel check post in Mianwali. According to the details, the family of the martyred officer has been given a house worth 13.5 million rupees. Head Constable Haroon Rasheed's wife and two children will now settle into a new home. The Punjab government has allocated funds for the family’s residence, made possible through the dedicated efforts of the IG Punjab. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar paid a heartfelt tribute to the everlasting sacrifice of Head Constable Haroon Rasheed, stating that he bravely confronted terrorist elements without regard for his own life, successfully repelling their attack. Dr. Usman Anwar emphasized that the Punjab Police will never forget the valor of its brave son. He stated that the Punjab Police is the custodian of over 1,650 martyrs and 1,700 Ghazis and efforts for the best welfare of the families of martyrs and ghazis will continue without interruption.
