IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar provides Home to Family of another policeman who sacrificed his life in the line of Duty

Under the supervision of Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, Punjab Police is ensuring every possible step for the best welfare of the families of its martyrs. In this regard, Dr. Usman Anwar has provided a residential home to the family of another police officer who embraced martyrdom in the line of duty. According to details, the family of Constable Muhammad Arshad from Lahore Police has been given a house valued at 13.5 million PKR, purchased in a private housing colony in Lahore, equipped with modern amenities as per the family’s preferences. Spokesperson for Punjab Police said that Constable Muhammad Arshad embraced martyrdom during an encounter with criminals on January 31 of this year in the North Cantonment area. His family includes one wife and four sons, who will now reside in their new home. Funds for the home were released by the Punjab government on the special efforts of IG Punjab. Dr. Usman Anwar paid rich tribute to the eternal sacrifice of Constable Muhammad Arshad. IG Punjab said that Constable Muhammad Arshad bravely confronted dangerous criminals without regard for his own life, Punjab Police will never forget the sacrifice of its brave son. He further noted that Punjab Police is a guardian force of over 1,600 martyrs and 1,700 brave Ghazi officials and will continue to take all possible measures for the best welfare of the families of martyrs and Ghazis.
