BAHAWALPUR: Multan police arrested five students on Saturday for violence. According to police sources, a group of students allegedly indulged in violence and broke the main gate of a private college in Multan’s Rashidabad locality on Friday. Its CCTV footage went viral on social media which alerted the Multan police. A heavy contingent of police rushed to the scene and claimed to have arrested five students while several others managed to flee on their motorcycles. The police said the arrested students were lodged in the lock-up and further action against the fleeing students was under process.
