IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar's Mission of best Health Welfare of police force
More than 1.6 million rupees released for medical expenses of police personnel and their families battling serious illnesses.
Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, is dedicated to the best health welfare of the police force and has been continuously implementing measures for their well-being. In continuation of these efforts, IG Punjab has issued over 1.6 million rupees for the medical expenses of police employees and their families dealing with severe illnesses.
According to details, 500,000 rupees were given to Constable Faheem Ahmad of Lahore Police for his wife's medical treatment, while 500,000 rupees were allocated to DEO Muhammad Ahsan of Rawalpindi Police for leg treatment. Inspector Nofal Zahoor of Lahore Police was granted 200,000 rupees for open-heart surgery, and Constable Mashkoor Ahmed of Multan received 100,000 rupees for treatment of a psychological disorder. Additionally, Salman Ali's wife was provided with 100,000 rupees for tumor treatment, Junior Clerk Hafiz Muhammad Husnain was allocated 100,000 rupees for kidney treatment, and Head Constable Zahid Bashir received 100,000 rupees for his wife's medical expenses. The Welfare Management Committee approved the allocation after reviewing the documents from across the province. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar instructed RPOs and DPOs to leave no stone unturned in the health welfare efforts for the police force. He further directed that all health welfare cases related to the police force should be sent to the Central Police Office with complete documentation for the fund issuance.
