Punjab Police Khidmat centres actively providing Digital Services to the Citizens across the province
Over 2 million citizens have availed policing services from the service centres during this year. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar.
Under the leadership of Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, Punjab Police is committed to both crime prevention and providing policing services to citizens round the clock. Punjab Police Service Centers are actively engaged in delivering digital policing services, with millions of citizens across the province, including Lahore, benefiting from over a dozen policing services every month.
IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that more than 2 million citizens have accessed policing services from the service centers this year. These services include the issuance of 570,000 character certificates, nearly 900,000 general police verifications, and 4,257 private employee verifications. Additionally, over 161,000 tenant registrations, 22,000 vehicle verifications, and 128,000 medico-legal certificates have been processed. More than 65,000 citizens have reported lost documents, and 4,650 crime reports have been registered. Moreover, more than 89,000 copies of FIRs were provided. 210 cases of violence against women were reported, and legal and social protection was provided to over 77,000 individuals in terms of protecting vulnerable groups, Additionally, 1,429 citizens completed employee registration (ROPE). IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar shared that the Police Service Centre is a remarkable service delivery project and assured that services are being further upgraded based on the feedback received from citizens.
