IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar is Committed for best Medical welfare of Police force and their Families
An additional 1.9 million rupees have been released for the medical expenses of police employees deployed across the province.
Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, is dedicated to the best medical treatment of police employees and their families and continuously taking priority measures in this regard. In continuation of these efforts, the IG Punjab has issued an additional 1.9 million rupees for the medical expenses of police employees deployed in various districts, including Lahore. According to details, Constable Muhammad Uzair from Bhakkar Police has been provided with 1 million rupees for a kidney transplant, Corporal Muhammad Rizwan Anwar has received 300,000 rupees for thyroid cancer treatment, and Head Constable Ghulam Abbas has been given 250,000 rupees for medical treatment. Additionally, Corporal Ramiz Liaqat and Head Constable Ghulam Ali's wife have each received 100,000 rupees for medical expenses, while Head Constable Muhammad Irfan has been allocated 75,000 rupees and Traffic Warden Tajmul Hussain has received 50,000 rupees.
Dr. Usman Anwar said that these funds were released after scrutiny by the Welfare Management Committee. He emphasized that every possible support is being provided to police employees and their families regarding health welfare and no officer fighting with medical issues will be left alone in their struggle against illness.
