IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar encouraged the team from Sargodha Police for Outstanding performance
Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, has honored SHO Anum Sarfraz and her team from Sargodha Police with CC-I certificates and awards for their remarkable performance in serving and protecting citizens. Recently, a pipeline burst near the Lower Jhelum Canal in Sargodha led to flooding in homes in Hamid Town. Upon receiving the report, SHO Anum Sarfraz and her team bravely rescued families trapped in four feet of water without regard for their own safety. The police personnel successfully evacuated 37 individuals, including women and children, to safe locations. In recognition of their efforts, IG Punjab awarded commendation certificates to SHO Anum Sarfraz, Head Constable Anees-ur-Rehman, Constable Muhammad Irfan, Muhammad Tanveer, and Muhammad Sarfraz.
Dr. Usman Anwar said that the Sargodha Police team demonstrated exemplary performance by fulfilling their duties beyond the call of duty. IG Punjab emphasized that officers and personnel dedicated to serving the community are the true assets of the Punjab Police. The encouragement of outstanding officers and personnel will continue at all levels. Additional IG Operations Punjab Shahzada Sultan, AIG Admin Dr. Muhammad Rizwan Ahmed, and DPO Sargodha Dr. Asad Ijaz Malhi were present at the ceremony.
