LAHORE: Multan police claimed on Thursday to have arrested the suspect who had shot a female schoolteacher dead two days ago. Safoora Taimur was on her way to school when suspect Aun Ashraf, who was chasing her, shot her in the head. She died on the spot. After shooting the teacher, the attacker picked her mobile phone and fled the scene. A CCTV camera footage shows that the victim, seemingly aware of being followed, nervously looks back twice before the fatal attack. Multan CPO Sadiq Ali Dogar took notice of the incident and ordered constitution of special teams to arrest the suspect. On his direction, the police arrested the suspect, using technological resources.
