Punjab Police's another significant initiative for the Health Welfare of Its Force and Their Families: MOU Signed for Healthcare Discounts.

Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar is continuing priority measures for the health welfare of the police force, and in this regard, Punjab Police has taken another remarkable step for the health welfare of its officers and their families. According to details, an MOU has been signed between Punjab Police and a private hospital (Hameed Latif) for treatment discounts. At a ceremony held at the Central Police Office, IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar and MD of the private hospital Haroon Latif Khan signed the MOU. Punjab Police spokesperson said that police employees and their families will receive a discount of 15 to 27 per cent on medical expenses across all departments. Families of police martyrs will receive a 27 per cent discount on OPD services, while police employees and their families will receive a 22 per cent discount on OPD services. Police employees and their families undergoing treatment at the hospital will receive discounts of 15 to 22 per cent on overall expenses. A 25 per cent discount will be offered to police employees at the Lahore Institute of Fertility and Endocrinology Centre. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar expressed gratitude to the management of the private hospital for their support in improving the health welfare of the police force.

IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that police employees will have access to quality healthcare facilities in Pakistan’s best treatment centre equipped with modern amenities.  The officials of the private hospital praised the services and sacrifices of Punjab Police in maintaining law and order and combating terrorism. MD Haroon Latif Khan said that under public-private partnership, deserving police employees will be provided with excellent healthcare facilities. The same facilities will be available in all departments at Arif Memorial Teaching Hospital and Hameed Latif Teaching Hospital under the signed MOU. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar also presented Haroon Latif Khan, a book titled "Thane Punjab De," which focuses on the upgrading of police stations in Punjab. The private hospital was represented at the ceremony by Chief Operating Officer Dr. Hassan Khan and Medical Director Adnan Abdul Majid. From Punjab Police, Additional IG Welfare and Finance Imran Ahmad, DIG Welfare and Finance Ghazi Salahuddin, DIG Establishment II Captain (Retired) Liaqat Ali Malik, and AIG Welfare Amara Shirazi were present.
