Two More Bandits Involved in the Martyrdom of Police Personnel from Kacha Area, Nasir alias Meela Lathani and Tariq Jhkarani, Killed, Punjab Police Spokesperson.
Punjab Police Rahim Yar Khan successfully conducted another operation against Kacha criminals, resulting in the elimination of two dacoits Nasir alias Meela Lathani and Tariq Jhkarani involved in the martyrdom of police officials. Nasir, known as Meela Lathani, was wanted in connection with the martyrdom of police constable Akbar Gopang. According to the Punjab Police spokesperson, the operation was launched in the Chowk Shahbaz Pur area after intelligence indicated the presence of Kacha criminals. Upon spotting the police, the dacoits opened fire. In the ensuing exchange of gunfire, both criminals were killed. They were wanted for serious offenses, including the martyrdom of police officers, firing at police, and robbery. Police team recovered heavy weaponry and hundreds of rounds of ammunition from the deceased bandits. Other accomplices managed to escape into the fields under the cover of darkness. A large-scale search operation is currently underway in the area. The operation involved a substantial police presence, including SHO Rana Ramzan from Ahmad Pur Lamma and In-Charge CIA Bhong Jibran Jirad, with support from bulletproof vehicles, modern weaponry, and elite commandos.
IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar appreciated DPO Rizwan Umar Gondal and the police team for their successful operation against Kacha criminals. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar emphasized that the mission is to transform the Kacha region into a secure area, affirming that targeted operations will continue.
