Central Police Office: IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar met with police employees and Their Families
IG Punjab listened to the problems and applications presented by police employees and issued orders for immediate relief.
Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, said that addressing the issues faced by the police force and their families promptly is among the department's priorities. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar stressed that timely resolution of employees' difficulties fosters a spirit of better performance, and therefore all officers should expedite efforts to address the challenges faced by subordinate staff. He expressed these views during a meeting with employees at the Central Police Office today.
According to the details, IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar directed AIG Admin to provide relief on the recruitment application for a junior clerk on the family claim of Driver Constable Pervaiz Akhtar's son. He also ordered the AIG Admin to take action on Inspector Abdul Sattar's promotion request to DSP in accordance with police rules. Regarding the medical expense assistance request from Special Branch sanitary worker Asif Nadeem, IG Punjab issued directoins to DIG Welfare to provide relief. For Driver Constable Asghar Ali’s request to be declared a Ghazi and to provide educational scholarships for his son, IG directed relief to be given by the DIG Welfare. The request for assistance for Lahore Police’s Ghazi constable Tariq Mehmood to obtain a prosthetic leg was forwarded to the DIG Welfare for immediate action, while relief was directed to the AIG Admin regarding the recruitment application for a junior clerk for the daughter of Class IV employee Bota Masih on family claim basis. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar further said that all officers should provide relief to employees through immediate action on the requests received.
