IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar's directive: Police Khidmat Marakaz actively engaged in providing digital services to citizens across the province.
During the current year, more than 1,906,000 citizens have received policing services from Khidmat Marakaz.
Under the directive of Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, Punjab Police Khidmat Marakaz are actively providing digital services to citizens across the province. Every month, millions of citizens are getting over a dozen policing services at these state of the art centers. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that during the current year, more than 1,906,000 citizens have received policing services from these centers.
According to details, over 536,000 citizens obtained character certificates, more than 858,000 underwent general police verification, 4,207 citizens had police verification for private employees, over 144,000 citizens registered for tenancy registration, more than 20,000 citizens completed vehicle verification, and 122,000 citizens received medico legal certificates. Additionally, over 60,000 citizens reported document loss, while 4,397 registered crime reports. A total of 83,000 citizens obtained copies of FIRs, and 192 reports of violence against women were registered. In the ongoing initiatives to protect vulnerable groups provided legal and social support to over 71,000 individuals, and 1,293 citizens registered for employment (ROPE).
IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar emphasized that the Police Khidmat Markaz is an outstanding public service delivery project, and performance will be further improved based on feedback from citizens. IG Punjab noted that over 100 service centers across the province are providing digital services, allowing citizens to access 14 services, including the renewal of driving licenses.
