IG Punjab issued necessary directions for the immediate resolution of issues faced by police employees
Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has said that the welfare of police employees and their families is a top priority. He emphasized that the police force is like a family and directed all RPOs and DPOs to ensure timely action to address the issues faced by subordinate staff. Dr. Usman Anwar said that by resolving the problems of police employees, better performance can be achieved from them. He expressed these views during a meeting with police employees at the Central Police Office today, where he issued prompt orders to address their issues. Dr. Usman Anwar instructed the DIG Telecommunication Punjab to provide relief regarding the promotion requests of Constables Muzaffar Ali, Muhammad Azim, and Syed Asif Hussain.
He also directed the AIG Admin to provide relief for the family claim of the late ASI Muhammad Mumtaz for the recruitment of his son as a constable. IG Punjab forwarded the retirement request of Constable Muhammad Afzal on medical grounds and the request for his son's recruitment to the CCPO Lahore for necessary action. Additionally, he instructed the AIG Finance to follow up and provide relief regarding the pension request of retired SP Muhammad Baqar, and directed the DIG Welfare to provide assistance for the treatment of the four ill children of Driver Constable Shamshad Ali. IG Punjab emphasized that immediate action should be taken on all requests to provide every possible relief to employees and their families, and supervisory officers should leave no stone unturned in addressing the issues faced by subordinate staff.
