LAHORE. South Cantt police apprehended a man impersonating as a Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) who was involved in blackmailing citizens. The arrest took place at Pasha Chowk in KB Colony. The suspect, identified as Nadeem, was caught during a targeted operation. Police recovered fake identity cards from him, including one falsely identifying him as an SSP in the Punjab Police and another from a sensitive agency. A case has been registered against the accused for impersonation and fraud. Authorities are investigating whether Nadeem was involved in further criminal activi- ties, using his fake identity to extort or manipulate unsuspecting citizens.
