Punjab Police accelerates the Promotion Process
IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar's direction: 54 Personnel from Multan Region Promoted to next rank
Punjab Police has accelerated the departmental promotion process across all regions of the province. Following the directives of IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, 54 personnel from the Multan region have been promoted to higher ranks. According to the spokesperson of the Punjab Police, 18 Assistant Sub-Inspectors (ASIs) have been elevated to Sub-Inspector, 18 Head Constables to ASIs, and 18 Constables to Head Constables. A ceremony to officially present the new ranks to the promoted officers will be organized shortly.
IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that this year, over 2,000 promotions will be awarded across various ranks, including 600 Sub-Inspectors, 700 ASIs, and 800 Head Constables. IG Punjab congratulated the promoted officers and encouraged them to carry out their duties with increased dedication, emphasizing that the benefits of these promotions should result in enhanced service to the public. The departmental promotion board meeting, chaired by the RPO Multan, was held yesterday, with participation from the CPO Multan and the DPOs of Khanewal, Vehari, and Lodhran.
