Punjab Police 's 08th student Internships batch commenced, inaugural ceremony held at Central Police Office
A total of 38 students from Lahore Garrison University have been selected for the eighth batch of the student internship program. Spokesperson Punjab Police.
Under the direction of Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, Punjab Police Youth Engagement Programs are ongoing across all regions and districts, and the eighth batch of student internships has officially commenced. The inaugural ceremony for the student internship program was held at the Central Police Office, with 38 students enrolled from various degree programs at Lahore Garrison University. AIG Training Faisal Mukhtar briefed the students about the features of the student internship program. He said that students will be attached to various field formations in rotation groups for a duration of six weeks, where they will gain insights into field policing, crime prevention, and public service delivery projects. AIG Training emphasized that the interns will receive comprehensive information about policing matters in the Information Technology, Counter Terrorism Department, Special Branch, Safe City Authority, and Investigation Branch. Students will also present reports on their observations during the internship in the concluding ceremony. Faisal Mukhtar said that the Punjab Police is fostering direct engagement with students in the fields of education and research, ensuring that the internship provides valuable guidance for their career development too.
