Central Police Office: Additional IG Operations Punjab Shahzada Sultan chaired a video link meeting
Following the directive of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the performance targets for the Faisalabad region were reviewed under the "Key Performance Indicators" initiative.
A video link meeting was held at the Central Police Office under the chairmanship of Additional IG Operations Punjab, Shahzada Sultan, to review performance targets for the Faisalabad region as directed by Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif under the "Key Performance Indicators" initiative. During the meeting, Additional IG Shahzada Sultan emphasized the importance of resolving complaints received at the 1787 complaint center within the designated time frame. He directed that intelligence-based operations be accelerated to eliminate the drug menace. He also instructed to intensify actions against organized crime and illegal weapons, and to collaborate with district administrations to increase efforts in eradicating encroachments and smog. Additionally, he directed for an increase in the issuance of driving licenses and to ensure the provision of digital services to citizens at police service centers. The meeting covered topics including hard-core policing, effective traffic management, performance of police service centers. The progress of FIR registrations, crime control, investigation matters, measures to eliminate drug trafficking, law & order handling, and the resolution of complaints received at 1787 were also reviewed. Discussions included the protection of women and vulnerable communities, administrative matters, grievance redressal, security, and service delivery. Participants included RPO Faisalabad Dr. Muhammad Abid Khan, CPOs, DPOs from Toba Tek Singh, Chiniot, and Jhang, along with traffic officers via video link. DIG IAB Ameen Bukhari, AIG Operations Zahid Nawaz Marwat, AIG Complaints Ehsan Ullah Chohan, and other relevant officers were present.
