Punjab Police achieves major success in Rahim Yar Khan's Kacha Area
Bhong Rahim Yar Khan Police conducted an intelligence-based targeted operation, apprehending Tanveer Indhar Gang's active member Nukhaf Dashti in injured condition, Punjab Police spokesperson.
Punjab Police Rahim Yar Khan successfully carried out an intelligence-based targeted operation in Bhong, arresting Nukhaf Dashti, an active member of the Tanveer Indhar Gang, who was found injured. According to the Punjab Police spokesperson, police received information about the presence of armed criminals at Fayyaz Bagh, in the Qadirpur area. Upon raiding the location, the accused opened heavy fire on the police. In retaliation, the police responded with full force, and during the crossfire, Nukhaf Dashti was injured by his accomplices' firing and subsequently arrested, while other gang members managed to escape under the cover of darkness. The arrested suspect is a close associate of Moorzada Dashti and the notorious dacoit Shehzada Dashti, who was killed in a previous police operation. Police spokesperson further mentioned that the captured criminal has a record of involvement in several serious cases, including murder, robbery, and firing on the police, and was wanted in multiple other cases. A Kalashnikov was recovered from his possession. IG Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, appreciated DPO Rahim Yar Khan Rizwan Umar Gondal and the team for the successful operation and directed the arrest of the fleeing suspects. A search operation, led by SHO Bhong and the CIA team Sadiqabad, is ongoing in the area to capture the remaining criminals.
