Central Police Office: IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar Meets with Police Personnel and Their Families
IG Punjab has issued immediate directives for the resolution of issues and requests presented by police personnel and their families.
Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar met with police personnel and their families at the Central Police Office. IG Punjab listened to the issues and requests presented by the police personnel and their families and issued immediate directives for their resolution. Dr. Usman Anwar instructed the AIG Admin to provide relief regarding Sub-Inspector Javed Iqbal’s request for relieving from the Central Police Office. Dr. Usman Anwar forwarded the request for educational scholarships for Constable Tariq Mahmood’s son to the Additional IG Welfare for fast processing. IG also sent the request for contract hiring of retired DSP Syed Abrar Hussain Naqvi and retired Inspector Muhammad Aslam as trainers to the Additional IG Investigation Punjab. Dr. Anwar directed the Additional IG Punjab to provide relief on the promotion requests of Inspector Manzoor Hussain and Abdul Karim based on merit. He instructed the AIG Admin to address the recruitment request for the son of retired Ministerial Staff Sawar Khan. IG Punjab forwarded the request for re-evaluation of lower class course results of Constables Muhammad Imran, Waqas Raza, and Akash Masi to the Additional IG Training. Dr. Usman Anwar emphasized that the welfare of police personnel is a top priority, and all possible relief measures will continue to be implemented on merit. He instructed supervisory officers to ensure prompt resolution of personal and professional issues faced by subordinate staff and to provide immediate relief for police personnel requests, sending reports to the Central Police Office.
