IG Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, honored SSP Riffat Bukhari with a commemorative shield on behalf of the police department.
Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, congratulated SSP Riffat Bukhari for receiving the Excellence in Performance Award from the International Association of Women Police. SSP Riffat Bukhari, who received the global award from the International Association of Women Police in the U.S. city of Chicago, visited the Central Police Office, where IG Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, also presented her with a commemorative shield on behalf of the police department. IG Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, said that police officers who achieve international recognition in public service delivery are a source of pride. SSP Riffat Bukhari’s success serves as an inspiration, particularly for female officers in the Pakistani police force.
SSP Riffat Bukhari was awarded the global honor at the 61st Annual Conference held in Chicago, USA. This award is given annually to one female police officer worldwide in recognition of exceptional services. Riffat Bukhari was honored for her work in women’s protection, artificial intelligence, intelligent traffic management, and the development of road safety mechanisms. DIG Operations Punjab, Waqas Nazir, was also present on the occasion.
