IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar Committed for the best Welfare of Police Martyrs' Families
A house worth 13.5 million rupees has been given to the family of another police officer who embraced martyrdom in the line of duty.
Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, is actively working for the best welfare of the families of police martyrs, taking every possible step in this regard. IG Punjab has handed over a house to the family of another police officer who embraced martyrdom while performing his duty. According to details, the family of Constable Touseef Ahmad Shaheed of Rajanpur Police has been given a house worth 13.5 million rupees. The house, a fully furnished 5-marla residence in Executive Villas, Multan, was purchased according to the family's preference. Constable Touseef Ahmad embraced martyrdom in August 2023 during a confrontation with three dangerous dacoits in the jurisdiction of police station Haji Pur. The family of Shaheed Constable Touseef Ahmad, including his wife and two young sons, will now reside in the new home.
Due to the special efforts of IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, the Punjab Government released funds for the martyr's family to secure their house. While paying glowing tribute to the supreme sacrifice of Constable Touseef Ahmed Shaheed, IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that Constable Touseef Ahmed bravely faced dangerous criminals without concern for his own life. Punjab Police will never forget the sacrifice of their brave son. Dr. Usman Anwar further said that the Punjab Police is the custodian of over 1,600 martyrs and 1,700 heroes like Constable Tauseef Ahmed Shaheed. IG Punjab directed that every possible effort will continue to ensure the best welfare of martyrs' families and heroes."
