LAHORE:Punjab Police have arrested 41,995 suspects involved in electricity theft across the province, including Lahore, during the last eight months. The police have booked some 73,515 accused and completed Challans of 48,056 cases of electricity theft and submitted in courts. According to Punjab Police spokesperson, 21,483 electricity thieves were arrested in Lahore against whom 21,911 cases were registered and challans of 6,553 cases were submitted.
