NAROWAL: A motorcyclist has been hospitalised allegedly after suffering a deep cut on his neck due to a piece of chemical coated twine at Zafarwal on Tuesday. As per Zafarwal police, Amanat Ali, a resident of Tharu Mandi village of Pasrur tehsil filed a complaint that Yunus (50), of Degira Harian village, was on a motorcycle when a piece of kite string hanging from a tree entangled around his neck, leaving him seriously injured. The injured man was shifted by a Rescue 1122 team to the Zafarwal Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital after provision of first aid. However, the doctors at the THQ hospital referred him to Narowal District Headquarters Hospital given his critical condition. The DHQ hospital doctors say the injured man was being treated, but his condition was still critical. The police have registered an FIR of attempted murder against the unidentified person who was flying kite.
