Another Punjab Police Officer Martyred in the Line of Duty
Constable Sohail embraced martyrdom in Kabirwala, Khanewal, by firing of the dacoits.

Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, has paid glowing tribute to Constable Sohail, who was martyred by robbers' firing in Kabirwala, Khanewal. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that Constable Sohail bravely sacrificed his life in the line of duty, achieving the esteemed status of martyrdom. Dr. Usman Anwar instructed that the best possible welfare of the martyr's family would be ensured. IG Punjab has sought a report on the incident from RPO Multan.
Punjab Police spokesperson said that police conducted a raid to recover the stolen goods and arrest a wanted criminal. The robbers fired upon the raiding police party, resulting in the martyrdom of Constable Sohail. Spokesperson of Punjab Police further added that one of the robbers, Rana Ahmad, who was wanted in ten robbery cases, was also killed by the robbers' own gunfire. DPO Ismail-ur-Rehman Kharak reached the scene immediately, and a search operation in the area is ongoing to arrest all the criminals.
