IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar paid rich tributes to Constable Abid Ali, Martyred in Faisalabad by Criminals' Firing

Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, has paid a heartfelt tribute to Constable Abid Ali, who was martyred by the firing of criminals in Faisalabad. IG Punjab said that Constable Abid Ali achieved the highest rank of martyrdom in the line of duty and the department will always remember his sacrifice. Dr. Usman Anwar further assured that every possible care will be taken for the welfare of the martyr’s family.
According to details, in the area of Thikriwala Police Station in Faisalabad, a police team on Eagle duty stopped suspicious motorcyclists for a check. Instead of stopping, the unknown suspects opened fire, hitting Constable Abid Ali in the chest and neck. In the police's retaliatory firing, one suspect was killed, while the other managed to escape. Efforts, including and raids, are ongoing to capture the second suspect. Constable Abid Ali was taken to Allied Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries and was martyred. RPO Faisalabad, Dr. Muhammad Abid Khan, visited Allied Hospital and met with the martyr’s family. Dr. Muhammad Abid Khan said that every possible step will be taken for the best welfare of the martyr’s family.
