OKARA: The police recovered 22.6 kilo charas from two suspected drug pushers in separate incidents. In the first incident, the Dipalpur Saddar police spotted a man near Jalal Chowk, who upon seeing the police, attempted to evade them. The police captured him and recovered 10.6 kilo charas from him. The suspect was identified as Abdul Ghafoor, of a nearby village. In another operation, Shahbore police, on a tip-off, intercepted a car near the D/4 intersection in village 31/4L. Upon searching the vehicle, the officials recovered 12 kilo charas. Suspect Zafar Iqbal is a resident of village 34/4L. Cases were registered against both suspects under Section 9-(1) 3E of the Control of Narcotics Substance Act, 1997.
