IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar awarded certificates of appreciation and cash prizes to the Bhakkar police team.
Inspector General of Punjab Police Dr. Usman Anwar honored the Bhakkar police team with certificates of appreciation and cash rewards for bringing notorious inter-provincial dacoits, wanted in serious crimes, to justice. At the ceremony held at the Central Police Office, IG Punjab presented appreciation letters to DPO Bhakkar Muhammad Abdullah Lak and DSP Organized Crime Malik Mazhar Hayat. Incharge Elite Inspector Muhammad Imran, Inspectors Abdul Sattar Atif and Azhar Javed, Sub-Inspector Nazeer Hussain, and Constable Nazar Hussain were awarded CC-1 certificates and cash prizes. This team successfully brought to justice the dangerous criminals Kamal alias Kamala and Ahsan Zubair, who were wanted by Punjab and KPK police. These criminals were involved in multiple serious cases in Bhakkar, Mianwali, Khushab, and Dera Ismail Khan.
IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar commended the police team for their outstanding performance and instructed them to continue performing their duties with the same dedication. He said that officers are being encouraged through Gallantry Awards, certificates of appreciation, and cash prizes for their exemplary performance. This year, 40 officers and personnel with outstanding performance will be awarded the Quaid-e-Azam Police Medal and President Police Medals. Among them, 36 police officers and personnel will receive the President Police Medals, and 4 will receive the Quaid-e-Azam Police Medals. Dr. Usman Anwar further instructed that operations against extortion mafias should be intensified in all districts, including Lahore. Additional IG Punjab Chaudhry Sultan, AIG Discipline Asif Amin Awan, DPO Bhakkar Abdullah Lak, SP Dolphin Shah Meer, ASP Abdullah, and other officers were also present.
