IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar chaired a review meeting on professional affairs of police daycare center, Tahaffuz Manzil Foster Home, and Tahaffuz Darsgah
Tahaffuz Manzil Foster Home Reunited 111 Missing Children and Individuals with Their Families in 6 Months, Incharge Tahaffuz Manzil Foster Home.
Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman said that Punjab Police's Tahaffuz Manzil Foster Home has reunited hundreds of missing children and individuals with their families. IG Punjab said that Punjab Police’s Police Daycare Centre in Lahore is providing high standard protocol-level facilities to children, according to international daycares. Children aged 1.5 months to 4 years are being provided with a safe environment, food, learning, and grooming facilities. IG Punjab directed that further measures be taken to expand the scope of facilities at the daycare centre. IG Punjab also instructed that the scope of facilities at Tahaffuz Manzil Foster Home and Tahaffuz Darsgah should be further expanded, especially to ensure that more transgender children benefit from the facilities at Tahaffuz Darsgah. He expressed these views while chairing a meeting at the Central Police Office today. The meeting reviewed the professional affairs of the Police Daycare Center, Tahaffuz Manzil Foster Home, and Tahaffuz Darsgah.
DIG Operations Punjab Waqas Nazir, SSP Operations Lahore, SP Headquarters, and relevant officers attended the meeting. SSP Operations Lahore Tasawar Iqbal provided information about the facilities being offered to the children of police employees at the Police Daycare Center. SSP Operations Lahore mentioned that police employees have expressed great satisfaction with the facilities provided at the daycare center. The incharge of Tahaffuz Manzil Foster Home informed that the Tahaffuz Manzil Foster Home has reunited 111 missing children and individuals with their families in the past 6 months. IG Punjab issued orders to ensure that the maximum number of citizens and employees benefit from all these projects.
