Additional IG Investigation Branch Punjab Muhammad Idrees Ahmad chaired a video link meeting at the Central Police Office. All SSPs and SPs Investigation and other officers of the province participated through video link. DSP Legal Qadeer Anwar, DSP Legal Ziarat Wato, DSP Monitoring Sheikh Muzaffar Akram and In-charge CDR Samya Khan attended the meeting. The meeting was briefed about the implementation of high court orders regarding timely completion of challans.
Additional IG Investigation Punjab, Muhammad Idrees, has directed all SSPs Investigation to enhance their supervisory role in ensuring the timely submission of challans. He instructed that all SSPs brief their subordinate staff on the implementation of court orders and send verification certificates to headquarters. Additional IG Investigation Punjab, Muhammad Idrees Ahmed, expressed displeasure over the delay in the timely entry of case updates into POLCOM in various districts. He instructed that in the future, if there are delays in entries, the responsible supervisory officers will be held accountable. Additional IG Investigation Punjab said that 17 refresher courses for investigating officers have been completed in collaboration with the Investigation Branch. Master trainers have provided modern training to a total of 21,932 investigating officers stationed in various districts. Additional IG Investigation Punjab also emphasized that the presence of the affected party in the District Standing Medical Board should be ensured through the DSP Legal. Furthermore, Additional IG Investigation Punjab directed that pending challans be resolved immediately in cooperation with the prosecution.
