IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar is determined to ensure the best health welfare for police employees and their families.
IG Punjab released another 2 million rupees for providing medical treatment to police employees serving in Lahore and various districts.
Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar is continuing to provide full support and initiatives for the best health welfare of police employees and their families. In line with this commitment, IG Punjab has released additional funds exceeding 2 million rupees for providing medical facilities to police employees in Lahore and various districts. According to the details constable Shifa Ullah Khan from DG Khan police has been granted 500,000 rupees for knee and leg surgery. Office Superintendent Malik Muhammad Shafiq Awan has been given 500,000 rupees for brain hemorrhage treatment. Security Constable Muhammad Awais Butt from the Special Protection Unit has received 200,000 rupees for lung treatment. Sub-Inspector Waheed Iqbal from the Special Branch has received 200,000 rupees for brain injury treatment. Constables Irfan Ali from Lahore and Muhammad Farooq from Gujrat have been provided 100,000 rupees each for treatment of various illnesses. Constables Muhammad Naseer Khawar and Javed Iqbal from Toba Tek Singh have each been granted 100,000 rupees for medical treatment. Head Constable Muhammad Hussain and Naib Qasid Ali Haider Hashmi have each been given 100,000 rupees for their families' medical treatment.
Additional IG Welfare and Finance Riaz Nazir Gara chaired the welfare management committee, which has reviewed the applications received from across the province. On the recommendations of this committee, IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar issued orders to release the above mentioned funds. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that the best health welfare of the police force and their families is a top priority. Further actions will be taken from the Police Welfare Fund and other available resources. Dr. Usman Anwar emphasized that there will be no lapse in providing all possible assistance for the treatment of employees and their families suffering from serious illnesses.
