Ghulam Murtaza, Umar and their third brother were sharing a small house. Initial investigation showed that the deceased had handed over the amount of his share in the bill to his elder brother last month but the suspect did not even pay last month’s bill. The fresh bill had mounted up to Rs 30,000 that became a cause of harsh words between the brothers, resulting in the murder of Umar.
