IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar’s directives: Welfare Management Committee meeting held at the Central Police Office.

Over 2.1 million rupees have been released for the medical expenses of police personnel and their families affected by serious diseases.

Following the instructions of IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, a meeting of the Welfare Management Committee was held in the Central Police Office. During the meeting, approval was granted for funds more than 2.1 million rupees to cover medical expenses for police personnel and their families suffering from serious diseases in Lahore and various other districts. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has issued orders for the release of these funds.

According to the details, retired SP Hafiz Muhammad Ayaz was granted 1 million rupees for his wife’s knee surgery. Trainee Sub-Inspector Uzair Abbas from Lahore received 500,000 rupees for cancer treatment. The widow of the late ASI Sabir Hussain from Faisalabad was provided 200,000 rupees for open-heart surgery. Constable Jabir Hussain from Jhelum received 200,000 rupees for heart disease treatment. Lady Constable Mahmooda Aziz Abbasi from Rahim Yar Khan was given 100,000 rupees for a spine operation, and Constable Asad Hameed from Sialkot received 100,000 rupees for heart disease treatment. These cases were approved by the committee under the chairmanship of the Additional IG Welfare & Finance after through scrutiny. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that further measures will be taken to ensure the best health welfare of police personnel and their families.
