Incident in Muzaffargarh: Boy Killed by Setting Him on Fire Over Land Dispute
IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar took Notice and sought the report from RPO DG Khan
Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has taken notice of the incident in Muzaffargarh where a boy was killed by being set on fire after sprinkling petrol on him over a land dispute. Dr. Usman Anwar has sought a report from RPO DG Khan. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has directed DPO Muzaffargarh to arrest the suspects immediately and ensure they are brought to justice promptly. IG Punjab emphasized that the ruthless suspects deserve no leniency and should face strict legal action.
Spokesperson for Punjab Police said that a case has been registered against the suspects, and raids are being conducted to arrest them. Spokesperson further mentioned that post-mortem is being conducted of the deceased, and the Crime Scene Unit and PFSA have collected evidences. Spokesperson assured that justice will be provided to the family of boy without delay.
