IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar is firmly committed for the best health welfare for Special Children of Police employees
More than 22 crores 27 lakh rupees have been released for the treatment of special children of police employees serving in various districts.
Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, is committed and actively working for providing the best health welfare to the special children of police employees. As part of ongoing initiatives, IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has released 22 crores 27 lakh rupees for the treatment of special children of police employees deputed in various districts.
Spokesperson for Punjab Police said that under "Hamaray Phool" project, 1,433 children have been provided record assistance in 8 categories. 152 children affected by Thalassemia have been given a monthly amount of PKR 15,000 each, totaling PKR 31.725 million rupees. 582 children affected by cerebral palsy are receiving a monthly amount of PKR 10,000 each, in total 7 crores and 14 lakhs rupees. 20 children have undergone cochlear implant surgeries, costing PKR 32.3 million rupees. 173 children suffering from other hearing impairments have been provided with PKR 1 crore and 34 lakhs rupees for treatment. 179 children have been given over PKR 5 crores and 38 lakhs 49 thousands rupees for the provision of artificial limbs. 172 children with various serious illnesses have been provided with over PKR 17.3 million rupees for treatment.130 special children with physical disabilities have been provided with wheelchairs. 25 children requiring major heart and kidney surgeries have been given PKR 60 lakhs and 44 thousands rupees. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that the police force is a family, and quick recovery of every employee's ailing child is a top priority, all possible measures will continue for the best health welfare of children through welfare resources.
