LAHORE:Inspector General of Police (IGP), Punjab, Dr Usman Anwar Monday provided ownership papers to the family members of another police martyr. The wife, two daughters, and three sons of martyr Constable Ghulam Hassan of Dera Ghazi Khan will now live at a house situated in Gulberg Housing Scheme, Dera Ghazi Khan. The price of the house is more than Rs 14 million. According to Punjab police spokesman, cop Ghulam Hassan embraced martyrdom in a shootout with wanted criminals on June 9, last year. The IGP made special efforts for the release of funds for the house. In a statement, the IGP paid rich tributes to the sacrifice of the cop and said the Punjab Police will remember his sacrifice.
