IG Punjab ordered Immediate Arrest of Suspects Involved in Firing
Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar took notice of the tragic incident in which 16-year-old Ayesha lost her life due to aerial firing in the Manawan area of Lahore. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar sought the report from DIG Operations Lahore. IG Punjab has ordered the immediate arrest of the accused involved in the firing. IG Punjab directed that all resources should be utilized to apprehend the suspects and ensure zero tolerance towards aerial firing and display of weapons during weddings and other ceremonies. Furthermore, IG Punjab emphasized that the suspects should be brought to justice swiftly and assured the affected parents that justice will be served without delay.
