Yazman police arrested the main accused involved in the violence, Iqrar Hussain, raids are on to arrest other accused, DPO Bahawalpur.
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif's vision, violence and abuse on the citizens no more. Bahawalpur Police has taken immediate action and arrested the main accused involved in the violence, Iqrar Hussain, on the issue of brutal violence on a citizen by the accused over a land dispute in the limits of police station Sadar Yazman Bahawalpur. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar took notice of the incident. DPO Bahawalpur Asad Sarfraz Khan said that raids are going on at different places of the teams formed to arrest other accused, all accused will be arrested and brought to justice soon. DPO Bahawalpur Asad Sarfaraz Khan said that there is zero tolerance for violence against citizens, and cannot allow anyone to take the law into their hands.
Earlier, IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar took notice of the brutal violence on a citizen over a land dispute in Yazman Bahawalpur and sought a report from RPO Bahawalpur. IG Punjab directed DPO Bahawalpur to use all resources to arrest the accused as soon as possible and bring them to justice.
