Punjab Police's combing operations continue to suppress miscreants, criminals, and terrorists, ensuring the maintenance of a peaceful environment.
In accordance with Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif's Safe Punjab Vision, police teams are working tirelessly day and night across all districts of the province, including Lahore. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that combing operations by Punjab Police are continue to suppress miscreants, criminals, and terrorists, and to maintain a peaceful environment. Punjab Police spokesman said that from February 26 till now, 6,389 search and combing operations have been conducted across the province, including Lahore. Over 206,000 individuals have been questioned, 2,884 suspects have been detained, and from the arrested individuals, 105 pistols, 16 guns, 8 rifles, and hundreds of bullets have been recovered.
Punjab Police Spokesman further said that over 30 search and combing operations were conducted in various districts of the province, including Lahore, just the previous day. More than 763 individuals were questioned, and suspects were detained. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar directed to continue the search and combing operations around sensitive areas, slums, hotels, inns, and bus terminals. IGP Punjab said that miscreants and their facilitators should be brought to justice. Dr. Usman Anwar stressed to tighten the circle around those involved in illegal activities and eliminate organized crime.
