IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar paid tribute to Police Constable Muhammad Tanveer Martyred by Firing of proclaimed offenders in Rajanpur District
Constable Muhammad Tanveer embraced martyrdom while protecting the lives and property of citizens, will not leave his family alone, IG Punjab.
Inspector General of Punjab Police, Dr. Usman Anwar, has taken notice of the incident happened in the Jampur area of Rajanpur district, where police constable Muhammad Tanveer was martyred and constable Javed Iqbal was injured by the firing of proclaimed offenders. IGP Punjab sought the report from RPO Dera Ghazi Khan. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar paid rich tribute to the unparalleled sacrifice of martyred constable Muhammad Tanveer, IGP Punjab said that constable Tanveer laid down his life while protecting the lives and property of citizens. He further assured that the family of the martyred constable would not be left alone. IG Punjab has directed the DPO Rajanpur to arrest the accused involved in the firing as soon as possible. Additionally, IGP instructed that the injured police officer, Javed Iqbal, be provided with the best medical treatment.
