Police say seven n court absconders among arrested men
MULTAN: The police arrested 44 suspected criminals during a crackdown launched across the district and seized drugs and illegal weapons from their possession on Sunday. According to police sources, five wanted offenders in cases of robbery, theft and other crimes wreamog those arrested. The police also arrested seven court absconders during the crackdown. Meanwhile, 14 drug peddlers and five men possessing illegal weapons were apprehended with liquor, 2kg of hashish, 5kg of hemp, 20 grams of Ice, five pistols and ammunition rounds. The police also arrested five suspected gamblers and seized stake money and gambling items. Eight other people were detained for illegally refilling LPG cylinders. Cases have been registered against the arrested suspects at the police stations concerned.
