Additional funds of 1.3 million rupees released for medical expenses of police employees injured in the line of duty.
Inspector General of Punjab Police Dr. Usman Anwar is dedicated and continuously working for the best health welfare of police employees. Under the health welfare programs supervised by IG Punjab, an additional 1.3 million rupees have been released for the medical expenses of police employees injured on duty.
According to the details 200,000 rupees have been issued for medical expenses of injured Constable Muhammad Sarwar from Sheikhupura police, 200,000 rupees were issued for injured Constable Ikram Hussain belonging to Rawalpindi police, 200,000 rupees were issued for injured Ghazi TSI Raja Muhammad Awais, 150,000 rupees issued each for injured Shafqat Rasool and Head Constable Muhammad Ameen from Faisalabad, 150,000 rupees for were issued to injured Ghazi Muhammad Waqas from Rawalpindi and 100,000 rupees each were given to injured constables Tahir Mahmood, Tahir Hussain, and Sajjad Hussain from Sheikhupura. All police officers who received health welfare funds were severely injured in various incidents while performing their professional duties. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar emphasized that the health welfare of the police force is a top priority and comprehensive support for the best treatment and speedy recovery is continue without interruption across the province.
