TOBA TEK SINGH: A man threw acid on his wife and her brother in Faisalabad’s Ghausia Colony, critically burning them both. The attack occurred when Farzana Bibi was walking with her brother Saddam Hussain to get medicine. Her husband Amin and an accomplice have been accused of the crime. Both victims have been shifted to the burn unit of the Allied Hospital. Police said there was a dispute between Farzana and her husband and she had been residing with her parents for some days. The police said People’s Colony ASP Zainab Khalid visited hospital and inquired after the health of Farzana. Police have arrested Amin and are searching for his accomplice.
