IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar is determined for the best health welfare of police force.
IG Punjab released another 16 lacs rupees to pay the medical expenses of the police personnel, who got injured in the line of duty.
Inspector General Punjab Police, Dr. Usman Anwar is ensuring regular measures for the best health welfare of police employees, in this regard, Dr. Usman Anwar has issued another 1.6 million rupees for medical expenses of police personnel injured who got injured in the line of duty.
According to the details, 500,000 rupees have been given to Constable Yasir Mahmood of Rawalpindi police for his medical expenses. Constable Muhammad Usman from Lahore Police has been granted 300,000 rupees for medical treatment. Similarly, Constable Ghazanfar Ali has been given 300,000 rupees for medical treatment. Driver Constable Amjad Ali from Faisalabad has received 250,000 rupees for his medical expenses, while Constable Talib Hussain from Pakpattan police has been given 250,000 rupees for medical treatment. These personnel sustained serious injuries during various incidents while performing their professional duties. The Compensation Award Committee, chaired by Additional IG Welfare and Finance Muhammad Riaz Nazir Gara, approved the release of these funds after scrutinizing the cases. IG Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, emphasized that the best health welfare of the police force is a top priority, and all possible support is being provided for the swift recovery of the injured officers and officials.
