LAHORE: A suspect was arrested for desecrating the pages of Holy Quran in the Raiwind area. The complainant Kashif Raza, a Jhalo Wali resident, alleged that the suspect Muhammad Ibrahim brought the Holy Quran from a nearby mosque, desecrated its pages and set these on fire after placing these on bricks of his house. He claimed that this was seen by few other people also. As the residents raised hue and cry, the suspect fled from the scene. A case was registered and the suspect was arrested.
