IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar is ensuring best health welfare of police force and their families.
Another 17 lakh rupees have been released to the officials posted in various districts for payment of medical expenses.
Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar is actively ensuring all possible measures for the best health welfare of police employees and their families and during the ongoing measures, IG Punjab has released approximately 17 lakh rupees to pay the medical expenses of the officials posted in various districts including Lahore.
According to the details, widow of Inspector Muhammad Ashraf (late) of Rahim Yar Khan received 500,000 for the treatment of cancer disease. Constable Afzal Hussain of Gujarat received Rs. 280,000 for his wife's liver transplant. Private Secretary Syed Naveed Anjum Zaidi received 2.5 lakhs 5 rupees for eye treatment. Head Constable Ghulam Mustafa Shahid of Lahore was given 2.5 lakhs for his wife's medical treatment. Head Constable Taj Muhammad of Multan Police was given Rs. 200,000 for heart surgery. Constable Muhammad Khan of Faisalabad Police was provided Rs. 200,000 for knee treatment. IG Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, said that supervisory officers should maintain close contact with employees facing medical issues, in addition to assistance in treatment, all possible support and guidance should be provided to ailing employees. Dr. Usman Anwar said that Punjab Police is one family, no one will be left alone in trouble.
